As CEO of Equipping ELLs and Inspiring Young Learners, you’ll be at the helm of a fast-growing online education business that combines best-in-class curriculum, a thriving membership community, and powerful digital storefronts. You’ll define and execute the company’s big-picture vision, lead strategic growth across multiple platforms (Teachers Pay Teachers, Shopify, our membership hub, and beyond), and inspire a high-performing remote team to push boundaries and exceed expectations.

What You'll Do:

Vision, Growth, and Strategic Leadership

    • Define and drive the long-term strategic vision for the company, aligning all functions to high-impact goals.

    • Identify new opportunities for expansion—products, partnerships, audiences, or markets.

    • Scale existing revenue streams while innovating new business models within the EdTech and curriculum space.

    • Lead financial planning, growth forecasting, and annual goal setting.

Executive Team & Culture Leadership

    • Build and nurture a thriving, mission-aligned remote team culture grounded in accountability, transparency, and collaboration.

    • Hire and develop department leads across operations, marketing, curriculum development, and customer experience.

    • Promote a high-performance culture with clear roles, KPIs, and ongoing leadership development.

Innovation, AI, and Tech Integration

    • Champion the thoughtful integration of AI into all business areas—marketing, content creation, analytics, and customer experience.

    • Stay on the leading edge of EdTech trends to maintain our position as a forward-thinking market leader.

Marketing, Sales, and Brand Positioning

    • Oversee multi-channel marketing strategies that elevate our brand and generate consistent, qualified leads.

    • Collaborate with marketing leadership to refine customer journeys, enhance funnels, and optimize conversions across TpT, Shopify, and membership platforms.

    • Position the brand as a thought leader in the ESL/ELL space through partnerships, media, and speaking opportunities.

Digital Products, Platform Strategy & User Experience

    • Ensure our products (resources, curriculum, membership, assessments) deliver consistent, high-quality results and outstanding user experience.

    • Use customer data and insights to guide product development and innovation.

    • Strategically expand product offerings and explore new delivery models (certifications, district partnerships, licensing).

 

 

Must-Haves in a Candidate:

  • Proven experience as a CEO, COO, or senior leader scaling a digital product, EdTech, or curriculum-based company.

  • Deep understanding of education, e-commerce, digital marketing, and scalable operational systems.

  • Strong background in growth strategy, revenue forecasting, and P&L ownership.

  • Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional remote teams.

  • Experience leveraging AI tools (like ChatGPT, Jasper, or similar) to drive operational efficiency and creative output.

Nice to Have in a Candidate:

  • Fluency in tools like ClickUp, Kajabi, Shopify, TpT, ActiveCampaign, and Google Analytics.
  • Background in ESL/ELL education, curriculum design, or school partnerships.
  • Familiarity with subscription-based membership models and strategies.
  • Previous experience scaling digital product businesses using tech-driven strategies.
