What You'll Do:

• Curriculum Design: Develop engaging, standards-aligned lesson plans, activities, and instructional materials for diverse learners.
• AI-Powered Content Creation: Use AI tools to research and generate content ideas, streamline curriculum development, and enhance resource quality.
• Canva-Based Content Creation: Use Canva to design visually appealing, easy-to-use resources for teachers and students.
• Assessment Development: Create formative and summative assessments that measure student growth and support effective instruction.
• Resource Adaptation: Adapt materials to accommodate various learning styles, academic needs, and proficiency levels.
• Collaboration & Feedback: Work closely with the team to review, revise, and refine materials based on feedback from teachers and student outcomes.
• Best Practices Integration: Stay informed about research-based instructional practices and incorporate them into curriculum development.

Must-Haves in a Candidate:

• Experience teaching or working in K–12 education with a solid understanding of curriculum development.
• Proven ability to design instructional materials that engage students and support effective learning.
• Proficiency with Canva or a willingness to learn quickly.
• Strong written communication skills for developing teacher-facing materials.
• Demonstrated experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, Copy.ai) for content creation and curriculum development.
• Organized, self-motivated, and able to manage tasks and meet deadlines.

Nice to Have in a Candidate:

• Familiarity with best practices for supporting English Language Learners (ELLs).
• Experience designing digital educational resources.
• Knowledge of educational standards, including state content standards and frameworks like WIDA Can Do Descriptors.
• Experience using AI tools to analyze educational data and trends to inform curriculum development.
